Why do I have big black ants in my Lawrence Heights home?

Large black ants indoors are usually carpenter ants. Seeing them in late winter or early spring often means the colony is nesting inside a wall, deck or window frame, not outside. Book an inspection before they damage the wood.

How long does it take to get rid of ants?
