Welcome to Pest Control Pro. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the pest control, extermination, and wildlife removal services we provide across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). By visiting pestcontrolpro.ca or booking any service with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms in full. Please read them carefully before confirming your appointment.

1. General Terms

Pest Control Pro is a licensed and insured pest management company operating in Toronto, North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Oakville, Ajax, and the wider Greater Toronto Area. 

All services are performed by licensed, trained, and insured technicians in compliance with Ontario legislation, Health Canada regulations, and the Pest Control Products Act (Canada).

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service or pricing at any time. Where changes affect existing bookings, we will make reasonable efforts to notify clients in advance.

2. Scope of Services

Pest Control Pro provides professional pest management and removal services for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Our services include, but are not limited to:

• Bed Bug Extermination – heat treatment, Aprehend biological treatment, conventional chemical treatment, bed bug heater rentals
• Mice & Rodent Control – exclusion, trapping, baiting, full rodent-proofing
• Cockroach Control – gel bait, IPM (Integrated Pest Management) treatments targeting German, American, Oriental, and Brown-Banded cockroaches
• Ant Control – pavement ants, carpenter ants, Pharaoh ants, fire ants, Argentine ants
• Spider Pest Control – black widows, wolf spiders, common house spiders
• Wasp & Hornet Nest Removal
• Wildlife Removal – raccoons, squirrels, skunks, pigeons (humane methods, Ontario-compliant)
• Commercial Pest Control – restaurants, offices, warehouses, condos, schools
• Industrial Pest Control
• Fumigation Services

Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including emergency same-day response across the GTA.

3. Estimates & Pricing

All estimates provided through our website, phone consultations, or on-site inspections are based on information available at the time of inquiry. Final pricing may vary depending on:

• The severity and extent of the infestation
• The size of the property and number of units to be treated
• The type of treatment required (heat vs. chemical vs. biological)
• Additional preparation, follow-up, or exclusion work identified during inspection
• Accessibility of affected areas

We maintain transparent pricing and will notify you of any adjustments before work begins. We never charge hidden fees after service is complete.

4. Deposits & Payments

A deposit may be required to secure your appointment date, order treatment materials, or confirm a multi-visit service plan. Deposit amounts will be communicated clearly at the time of booking.

5. Appointments & Client Preparation

Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when Pest Control Pro provides written or verbal confirmation of the appointment date and time. Submitting a contact form or online inquiry does not constitute a confirmed appointment until acknowledged by our team.

Property Preparation

Clients are responsible for preparing the property before each scheduled treatment. Specific preparation instructions will be provided at the time of booking and vary by service type. General requirements include:

• Clearing access to treatment areas (under beds, behind appliances, inside kitchen cabinets)
• Removing or storing food, dishes, and pet bowls before chemical treatments
• Vacating the premises for the required time period as directed by your technician
• Securing or temporarily relocating pets, birds, fish tanks, and reptiles
• Washing and bagging all bedding and clothing for bed bug heat treatments

Failure to adequately prepare the property may reduce treatment effectiveness, require rescheduling, or result in additional charges. Service guarantees may be voided if preparation instructions are not followed.

Access to Property

The client agrees to provide safe and reasonable access to all areas required for inspection and treatment. If access is denied or restricted on the day of service, Pest Control Pro reserves the right to charge a partial service fee or reschedule at the client’s cost.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. We ask for reasonable advance notice to allow us to offer your appointment time to other clients in need of urgent service. Appointments may be rescheduled without penalty with at least 24 hours’ notice. Deposits applied to cancelled appointments can be transferred to a new booking made within 30 days.

7. Service Guarantee & Warranty

Pest Control Pro stands behind the quality and effectiveness of every treatment we perform. If pests return within the warranty period and all conditions are met, we come back at no additional charge.

Warranty Conditions

All service guarantees are subject to the following conditions:

• The client must follow all preparation and post-treatment instructions provided by the technician
• The client must notify Pest Control Pro of any issues within the active warranty period to qualify for retreatment
• Warranties do not cover re-infestation originating from a new external source (e.g., neighbouring unit, shared laundry, or newly introduced furniture) after treatment
• Warranties are void if the property is not maintained in a reasonably sanitary condition following treatment
• Structural modifications to the property that compromise exclusion or sealing work void the applicable exclusion warranty
• Warranties apply to the specific treatment type and area confirmed in the original service agreement
  
  

8. Health, Safety & Chemical Products

Registered Products

All chemical products used by Pest Control Pro are registered with Health Canada under the Pest Control Products Act and comply with the requirements of the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (Ontario). We use eco-friendly formulations and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) methods wherever appropriate to minimize impact on your family and the environment.

Client Disclosure Obligations

To ensure safe and effective treatment, clients must disclose the following before service:

• Presence of infants (under 12 months), elderly persons, or immunocompromised individuals in the household
• Pets, birds, fish, reptiles, or exotic animals in the property
• Known allergies or chemical sensitivities among occupants
• Pregnancy
• Medical equipment, oxygen concentrators, or ventilators on the premises

Important: Failure to disclose relevant health information that affects the safety of treatment may limit Pest Control Pro’s liability for any adverse reactions. If you are unsure whether a condition is relevant, please ask your technician before treatment begins.

Re-Entry Instructions

Clients must follow all re-entry and ventilation instructions provided by the technician following any chemical treatment. Pest Control Pro is not liable for health effects arising from early re-entry against the technician’s explicit instructions.

9. Wildlife Removal – Ontario Law Compliance

Wildlife removal services are performed in full compliance with the Ontario Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act and applicable municipal bylaws across the Greater Toronto Area. Pest Control Pro uses humane removal methods only and follows all provincial regulations regarding the trapping, handling, and relocation of wildlife.

10. Limitation of Liability

Pest Control Pro is committed to delivering high-quality, effective pest control services on every job. However, to the fullest extent permitted by Ontario law, our total liability to the client for any claims arising from services rendered shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Pest Control Pro is not liable for:

• Pre-existing property damage discovered during inspection or treatment
• Damage caused by pests or wildlife before, during, or after treatment
• Consequential, indirect, or incidental damages including lost business income, temporary relocation costs, or loss of personal belongings
• Re-infestation originating from neighbouring units, shared common areas, or external sources not treated by Pest Control Pro
• Failure of treatment due to the client’s failure to follow preparation or post-treatment instructions
• Delays in service caused by events outside our reasonable control (severe weather, road conditions, supply chain disruptions)

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by Pest Control Pro’s proven negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be lawfully excluded under Ontario consumer protection law.

11. Privacy & Personal Information

Pest Control Pro collects and uses personal information,  including your name, address, phone number, and email, solely for the purpose of:

• Delivering pest control and extermination services
• Communicating appointment details, estimates, and follow-ups
• Processing payments
• Improving our services and customer experience

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Our data practices comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario privacy legislation.

12. Website Use

By accessing pestcontrolpro.ca, you agree not to:

• Misuse the website or interfere with its functionality, performance, or security
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through contact or quote forms
• Attempt unauthorized access to our servers, databases, or administrative systems
• Scrape, reproduce, or commercially exploit any content from our website without written permission
• Upload or transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful software

All website content,  including text, images, logos, service descriptions, pricing information, and the Pest Control Pro brand,  is the intellectual property of Pest Control Pro and protected under Canadian copyright law. Reproduction or distribution without written consent is prohibited.

We reserve the right to block or report malicious activity to appropriate authorities.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

If a resolution cannot be reached informally, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario. Clients may also seek resolution through the Ontario Small Claims Court for matters within that court’s monetary jurisdiction.

14. Changes to These Terms

Pest Control Pro reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our website or services following any published changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

For significant changes affecting existing service agreements or guarantees, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected clients by email with reasonable advance notice.
